ANGIER – Shirley Ann Fish Lee, 87, died Thursday following a sudden illness. Born on the family farm in Wake Co., she was the daughter of the late Herman and Zola Coats Fish. She graduated as Valedictorian from Angier High School and worked at NC DMV for several years. Later, she worked with her husband on the farm. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 am at the Angier Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Harnett Memorial Park, Lillington. She is survived by daughters, Dail Lee Rawls and Anne W. Lee, both of Angier and Dena Lee Harris and her husband, Steve of Raleigh; grandchildren, Kristin E. Rawls of Milford, Conn, Allison Rawls Manuel and her husband, Coite of Washington, DC, Grant S. Harris and Savanna L. Harris, both of Raleigh and great-grandchildren, Juniper and William Manuel. In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, R. W. Lee, Jr., a son, Michael Vann Lee and a brother, Wilton R. Fish. The family will be at the family home on Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00 pm. They will receive friends and relatives at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier, 6:00 – 8:00 pm Tuesday. At other times they will be at their respective homes.
