Shirley Jo Baird

WILLOW SPRING-Shirley Jo Baird passed away on Saturday. A native of Wake County, N.C., she is the daughter of the late William H. Baird and Millie Austin Baird. Shirley loved her Lord and Savior and is now rejoicing with him in heaven. She attended Pleasant Union Christian Church in Lillington, N.C. for many years. She was a talented architect as well as a gifted artist. God blessed her with the gift of music and she enjoyed playing her favorite hymns on her piano almost daily. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, James E. Baird and Paul A. Baird and two sisters,Eunice Baird Kronstadt and Mabel Baird Jackson. Shirley is survived by seven nieces and four nephews who she loved very much. A private graveside services will be held at Willow Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family wishes to express our appreciation for all of the WakeMed doctors and medical staff that provided excellent care for her in the recent months.
