Shirley Lassiter Pendley

RALEIGH – Shirley Lassiter Pendley, 80, passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2019. Funeral service will be Thursday, February 7, 2019 at 11:00 am at Penny Road Church of the Nazarene with visitation an hour prior. The graveside service will follow the funeral at 2:00 pm in Sunset Gardens in Henderson. Shirley is survived by her sons, Odell Pendley (Marsha) of Henderson, Keith Pendley (Bobbie) of Apex, Tony Pendley (Margaret) of Chocowinity, Stewart Pendley (Paula) of Holly Springs, Randy Pendley (Daphne) of Willow Spring, and Phillip Pendley of the home; 14 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Shirley was preceded by her parents; husband, Clarence Gray Pendley; her daughter; Julia Faye Coates; sisters, Shelby Jean Lassiter and Daphine Short; and brothers, William Lassiter and Kenneth Lassiter.
