Shirley Pansy Smith Carroll

September 30, 1931 — November 26, 2022

Raleigh – Shirley Pansy Smith Carroll, 91, passed away November 26, 2022. A native of Wake County, Pansy was born September 30, 1931, to the late William Maple and Pauline Smith. She was a homemaker and worked on the family farm, with her late husband Joe. Pansy was an amazing cook that had everyone raving about her biscuits and 10-layer chocolate cakes. She was a member of Mount Zion UMC for more than 60 years, which led her to her love of Jesus and studying her bible every chance she could.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

The family will hold a private funeral service.
