Angier - Staley Palmer Smith, 81, passed away on Thursday. Graveside services will be held Saturday at 10:00 AM at the Smith Family Cemetery, Fuquay-Varina.Surviving: his wife of 49 years, Kathy Upchurch Smith; daughters, Sheree S. Gregory and Gwen S. Glover; sons, Barry D. Smith and Ricky P. Smith; stepson, Tommy Morrison; sisters, JoAnn Wright and Kathleen Langdon; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.The family will receive friends at the home.
