Stanley Charles Odham

Stanley Charles Odham, 62, died unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, April 2, 2017.  Stan O was a man who loved the Lord, his family, friends and lost souls.  He always had a smile in his heart and a song to sing.  Beyond his passion for sharing the “Good News”, he loved golfing, singing, the beach and making people laugh.  His “tee shot” always didn’t land on the straight-and-narrow fairway, but he strived for his life to land in the “rough” to help others.  Always remember him with joy and laughter in your heart. A celebration of Life will be held 4:00 pm Wednesday at New Bethel Baptist Church, Garner, NC. Surviving are his wife, Melissa Odham; father, William Odham and wife Belle of Youngsville; mother, Betty Odham of Raleigh; daughter, Kara Odham of Raleigh; son, Nathaniel Hunter Odham and wife Kasie of Angier; sister, Tracie Odham of Wake Forest; aunt, Ann Poole of Raleigh; uncles, Clarence Poole of Raleigh and Kenneth Odham and wife Elaine of Greensboro. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society,in honor of his Aunt Ann, 8300 Health Park, Ste 10, Raleigh, NC 27615 or to Samaritan’s Purse,  PO Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607 or the Raleigh Rescue Mission,  314 East Hargett Street, Raleigh, NC  27601.
