Stephen Lynn Dorman

ANGIER – Stephen Lynn Dorman, 54, of Angier, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, July 8th.

Stephen was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was dedicated to achieving excellence in building a career in real estate that led him to servicing surrounding communities. He received the Order of The Longleaf Pine recognizing his lifetime achievements in community service in addition to being a multiple recipient of the Centurion award during his time working at Century21. Following his career in real estate, Stephen became employed with the Harnett County Schools where he continued to work until his passing.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 11th at 10:00 am in the chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. Burial will follow the service at a private committal at Lakeside Memorial Gardens, Angier.

Stephen is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Wendy Suggs Dorman of Angier; daughter, Amber Marie Dorman of Angier; granddaughters, Patricia Marie Hill and Fiona Lou Hill of Willow Spring; and father, Norwood Lynn Dorman and wife, Angie of Willow Spring.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Johnson.
