Stephen Marcinko, Jr. died peacefully at home Thursday evening, surrounded by his family, following an 8 1/2 year battle with pancreatic cancer. Stephen grew up in Metuchen, N.J. and graduated from Lincoln Tech, making his living as a route driver, most recently for Utz. He was an avid Star Wars fan and memorabilia collector who also enjoyed fishing, bowling, range shooting and spending time with family and friends. Stephen is survived by his mother, Florence Marcinko of Willow Spring, N.C., his sister and brother-in-law, Carole and Ron Ferrero of Ridgefield, CT. and his sister and brother-in-law, Terri and Tim DeMaeyer of Durham, N.C., as well as four nieces and nephews, Nicole Ferrero, Andrea Ferrero, Kevin DeMaeyer and Alex DeMaeyer. Visitation will be at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 300 East McIver Street, Angier, N.C.
