Steve was known for his love of nature and the outdoors, which he instilled into his children and grandchildren. He had the greenest thumb you ever saw, spending countless hours caring for his fig trees and gardens. Steve was also an accomplished blues harmonica player. He loved performing, often regaling you with a song at the drop of a hat. He was never without a harmonica in his pocket. Steve often shared that his biggest prides in life was that of his loving wife, children and grandchildren. Of all the things he loved, a day or meal spent with his family was what he treasured most. He was a family man through and through- being a husband, father and Pop Pop were his favorites titles. Everyone that Steve came in contact with was a friend. He never met a stranger. His generosity and kindness to all those he crossed paths with will be cherished. The impact Steve made on the lives around him will be fondly remembered – and for that, he will always be loved, and forever missed.
