WILLOW SPRING- Steve Stanley Beasley went to his heavenly home on Thursday to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was a member of Willow Spring Community Church where he was a devoted trustee, led the singing and taught adult Sunday School. He graduated from Fuquay-Varina High School, attended N.C. State and farmed all his life. He had a fall garden where he gave away a lot of produce and became well known as the cabbage collard man. People came from miles around for those. The family will receive friends Monday 12:00 -2:00 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. Graveside Service will be Monday at 2:30 at Willow Springs Primitive Baptist Cemetery, Willow Spring, NC. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Brenda Jean Davis Beasley and his parents George Avery and Maryann Maythorne King Beasley. Surviving family are his wife Linda Beasley, daughter, Candace Loehman (Michael); son, Stephen Beasley (Copper); step-daughters, Tammy May (Richard) Dawn Strickland , Amy Bunn ((Randy) grandchildren, Kaitlyn Yates, Ashlyn Loehman, Destiny and Journey Beasley, Brittany, Rachel, Savannah and Nathan May, Brandon and Jared Bunn. The family extends a special thank you to Dr. Mariyam Hussain, Harvard Med Family Practice, Rex UNC Health Care, Transitions Healthcare and Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier for taking great care of our loved one.
