He married Genevieve (Jenee) Ridgeway Lynch, on 2/3/1973, in Lima, Ohio. They recently celebrated 50 yrs of marriage, and she survives him, along with their two Sons, Ryan (Jennifer) Lynch, Carolina Beach, NC and Keith (Jenny) Lynch, Clayton, NC, and their son, Kade, whom loved his Poppa dearly.
He is also survived by his siblings, Sharon Ashton, Delaware, Ohio and Jack (Jan) Lynch, Wapakoneta, Ohio; his In-laws, Linda (Jim Nolan) Vogel, Easthampton, MA; Joe Ridgeway (Marilyn), Southport, NC; Marlene Ridgeway( Dr Ralph Romaker), Portland, OR; and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews; and a special niece, Amanda Ashton and great-nephew, Jude Ashton, Delaware, Ohio.
Steven devoted his life to his family, attending every event and supporting every step of the way. He will forever be remembered for his selflessness, always putting everyone before himself.
Such a paradox Life and Death are. We are relieved when there is no more pain for our Loved Ones and yet broken-hearted that our beloved is gone from our sight, hearing, and touch—such things only our hearts and souls can help us understand. Our love could not keep Steven’s presence among us. He will forever be in our hearts, and hopefully, our kindnesses and care for others. May we do as he did, thus giving honor to his Life.
At his request, there will be no Services held. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for family.
