Sue Celestia Knott

Sue Celestia Barker Knott, 94, died Monday, July 26, 2021 at her residence. She was born in Granville County on September 21, 1926 to Charles Macon Barker and Mabel Hart Barker. She was the widow of Julian Clarence Knott, who died May 31, 2008. They enjoyed 58 years of marriage. Surviving is her daughter, Jean L. Knott of Raleigh; several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at Raleigh Memorial Park on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Transitions LifeCare, 200 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
