Sue Johnson Cross

RALEIGH-Sue Johnson Cross, 57, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Friday. A native of Wake County, she was the daughter of the late James Baxter Johnson Jr., and Frances Garner Johnson. She was a friend to all and cared deeply for her family and her Lord Jesus Christ. Her greatest joy was caring for her husband and children. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday at Highland Baptist Church, Raleigh. Burial will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm Monday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. Sue is survived by her husband of 37 years Robbie Cross; daughter, Erin Cross Gross and husband Ted of Raleigh; son, Travis Cross of Clayton; sister, Judy Lineberger of Atlantic Beach; brothers, Mike Johnson of Ocracoke Island and Rhett Johnson of Winston-Salem; mother-in-law, Evelyn Cross; brothers-in-law, Leonard Cross and wife Debby, Gene Cross and wife Kim and Kerry Cross and wife Kimberly along with several nieces and nephews.
