Susan Mcmahon Evaniak

Susan McMahon Evaniak, 67, died Monday at Wake Med Hospital in Raleigh. She was born in Buffalo, NY to the late Edmond and Betty McMahon. Susan attended Buffalo State College. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed traveling and had a passion for gardening, cooking and baking. Surviving are her husband of 46 years, Nicholas M. Evaniak; sons, Paul N. Evaniak and wife Kelly and Christopher M. Evaniak and wife Lisa; grandchildren, Hannah and Ryan Evaniak; sisters, Patricia White, Kathleen Drzal, Maureen Seitler, Mary McMahon, several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Michael McMahon. The family will receive friends at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 1200 Benson Road, Garner, from 3:00 – 5:00 pm Wednesday.
