Susan Morris

Susan Morris, 62 of Raleigh, passed away September 25, 2019, with her family by her side. She was born to the late Roy and Shirley Garriss, in Pendor County North Carolina on September 6, 1957. She married Ray Morris June 4, 1973 and they were happily married for 46 years. Susan is survived by her husband Ray Morris, her daughter Marie and husband Jeremy Moss of Benson; her daughter Stephanie and husband Clarence Kinley of Willow Spring. She is also survived by four grandsons; Kaleb and Ethan Moss and James and Carson Kinley. Susan was preceded in death by her brother Roy, in 1998. Susan was a loving wife and mother and immensely proud of her family. Her four grandsons filled her later years with happiness, laughter and fun. Susan will always be remembered for her love of purses, thrift store shopping, NERD ropes for her boys at Christmas and the keeper of many important dates and phone numbers. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2019 from 6:30-8:30 pm at Bryan Lee Funeral Home in Garner. A graveside service will take place on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at 3:30 pm at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Clayton. The family will receive friends and family at the home of Stephanie and Clarence Kinley.
