Susanne Price Altman

Fuquay-Varina – Susanne Price Altman, 65, passed away on Saturday morning, August 12, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Wake County, she was the daughter of the late Romie Columbus “R.C.” and Lois Pilgrim Price.

A celebration of Susanne’s life will be held at Four Oaks United Methodist Church on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at 3:00pm.

Susanne is survived by her children, Christopher Craig Altman of Fuquay-Varina, Amy Altman Pope (Michael) of Willow Spring, Danny Paul Altman (Darlynne) of Holly Springs, David Patrick Altman (Veronica Diaz) of Raleigh; grandchildren, Grayson Pope, Austin Altman, Connor Altman, Olivia Lawrence, Natalie Galloway, David Altman, Perla Flores; her very best grand dog, Beast; brothers, Mike Price (Bonita) of Angier, Henry Ogburn of Angier; as well as Susanne’s biggest fans better known as “Team Susanne,” Kim Pearce, Tom Wilson, Mary Sweatte, and Glenda Honeycutt.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 28 years, Danny Ray Altman, and a brother, Craig Lee Price.

And now these three remain: Faith, Hope, and Love; but the greatest of these is Love. Three words that describe the best virtues of our lives. Susanne lived with these words very close to her heart. She had Faith that in God anything was possible; Hope kept her moving forward and fueled her fight against cancer; her life overflowed with an enduring Love for everyone she knew. As we go through life, let us all walk by Faith, rejoice in Hope and let all that we do be done in Love.
