WILLOW SPRING – Susie Strickland, 65, passed away Saturday at her home. The family will receive friends and relatives at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Angier from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Tuesday, October 24, 2017. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at the Memorial Funeral Directory, Princeton, WV. Burial will follow in the New Zion Cemetery, Princeton. Susie was preceded in death by her parents, Forrest and Elector Rumburg; and by a brother, Dennis Rumburg. She is survived by a loving family which includes her husband, Jerry Garland Strickland; son, Leonard Joseph “LJ” Hutchens; sisters, Pamela Wood and husband, Ronald, Martha Brookman and husband, Ronald; brothers, Dr. H. Rondel Rumburg and wife, Barbara, Owen Rumburg and wife, Delilah; and her canine companions, Fancy and Brandi. Arrangements in North Carolina are by Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier.
