Suzanne “Nikki” Nickol Baker

Raleigh - Suzanne Nickol Baker, Nikki, 33, passed away August 31, 2016.  She was an amazing woman with a heart bigger than anyone can imagine.  Nikki truly loved each and every person in her life.  Nikki was born and raised in the Yates Mill area of Raleigh by her mother Maria Dunn. A memorial service will be held on Sunday at 2:30 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner.  The family will receive friends following the service. Nikki loved her family, friends, animals, and work family.  A beautiful woman inside and out, she was the light and the energy that kept so many people connected. Nikki is survived by her sweet children, Laila 9, and Delila 5; loving boyfriend, Dave Melzo; mother, Maria Dunn and her siblings Chris Powell and Crystal Hunt, along with many special nieces and nephews.  She also has a large extended family full of beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that meant just as much in her heart as her immediate family. Nikki is a very special person that can do anything; tackling any project big or small. For Nikki, no mission was impossible, she was a real superwoman.  She was an artist, dancer, singer, gardner, lover, mother, sister, cousin, auntie, and friend, Nikki Baker will be forever in our hearts.
