Syvonne “Sue” Hicks

Garner – Syvonne “Sue” Hicks, 63, passed away Sunday. She was daughter to the late Lawrence and Izela Quinn. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Peggy Hester and Joyce Stinnett and a brother, JB Quinn. **** THE VISITATION FOR WEDNESDAY NIGHT WILL STILL TAKE PLACE.  THE ORIGINAL SERVICE TIME AND DAY FOR THE FUNERAL HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR FRIDAY AT 1:00 PM AT BRYAN-LEE FUNERAL HOME, GARNER.  BURIAL WILL FOLLOW AT THE HICKS FAMILY CEMETERY.  PLEASE NOTE, THIS NEW TIME AND DAY IS ALSO APT TO POSSIBLY BE RESCHEDULED DUE TO SEVERE WEATHER.  PLEASE REFER BACK TO OUR WEBSITE FRIDAY MORNING TO BE ADVISED OF ANY CHANGES**** She is survived by her husband, Darrell; sons, Donald Lee Swearengin (Lisa) and Charles Edgar Swearengin and fiancée Stephanie Trunk; daughter, Wendy Michelle Ayala (Mariano); sister, Diane O’Brien; brothers, Mike and Vernon Quinn and 10 grandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 – 8:00PM at the funeral home.
