T. Bryan Mcswain

November 9, 1971 — April 11, 2016

Lillington - With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden loss of our son, husband, and friend, Thomas Bryan McSwain, 44, of Buies Creek, NC. Family and friends will miss his sharp sense of humor; his unfailing integrity and responsibility to do good; his willingness to lend a helping hand to those in need; and his caring, compassionate, and generous spirit for those he loved. Bryan’s passion for music and for the Washington Redskins was contagious. His career was dedicated to serving people and the community through his work with the Harnett County Health Department. In his personal life, his love for the outdoors was reflected in his photography and his conscientious commitment to preserving nature. Bryan is survived by his parents, Thomas and Linda McSwain of Warrenton, NC, and Lois and Bill Hensley, of Knightdale, NC. He is also survived by his wife, Emma Braaten McSwain; aunt, Linda Carter; uncle and aunt, Don and Delia Carter and cousins, Brittany and Randall Carter. Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life at a memorial service on Friday, April 15, 2016, at 1 P.M. at the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Garner, NC.  The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The NC Wildlife Endowment Fund or a charity of your choice.
