Tammy Whitley Howington

GARNER - Tammy Maria Whitley Howington, 58, passed away on Thursday. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. Tammy is survived by her mother, Faye Newkirk; son,Travis Howington; sister, Teresa Whitley Young and husband; Aubrey; step-mother, Brenda Whitley; nephew, Shannon O'neal; half-sister, Crystal Whitley Evans; half-brother, Greg Whitley and a large and loving extended family. She was preceded in death by her loving father, Yates Whitley. Tammy was a loving mother, sister, daughter, cousin and friend who was deeply loved & will be missed by all. She was a free spirit who lived her life to the very fullest. Tammy was a true Pittsburgh Steelers fan whose joys in life included the very people that surrounded her, the sunshine above and spending time at the beach. Tammy's greatest joy in life however was easy to see by all those who knew her, her son, Travis.
