Tedros Negash Gebre

Tedros Negash Gebre, affectionately known by his friends as “Ted,” and also “Abraham” by his grandfather, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at the age of 33. Tedros was very loving, social, caring, giving, and compassionate young man. He was born in Eritrea, East Africa on October 14, 1987. Tedros was preceded in death by his father, Negash Gebre. He is survived by his mother, Medhin Araya; sisters, Selam Negash, Tigisti Negash; brothers, Biniam Negash, Isac Negash; and Bashay Araya’s family. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021 beginning at 8:30 AM at Holy Transfiguration Orthodox Church - 3491 Pleasant Grove Church Rd, Morrisville, North Carolina. After the funeral, the procession will lead to Wake Chapel Memorial Gardens - 905 Wake Chapel Rd, Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina for the burial service. The family will gather for a private viewing with invited guests on Friday, March 26, 2021 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 831 Wake Forest Road, Raleigh, North Carolina.
