Clayton - Terry Anthony Durham, 57, of Clayton, NC passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Duke University Hospital after a two year battle with complications arising from a double lung transplant. Terry was born on February 6, 1957 in Princeton, WV to the late Paul J. Durham and Helen Nadine Durham who survives. Terry had a love for classic cars and trucks - his favorite being the 1957 Chevy Bel Air. He also had an intense love for Harley Davidson motorcycles. God used Terry and his Harley mightily to spread the Good News of the Gospel while he served with the Bikers For Christ motorcycle ministry. Terry loved his Lord with all of his heart and those he came into contact with knew it! His favorite scripture verse was John 14:6 where Jesus states that, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me (NKJV). Terry believed it; do you? Terry was an active member of several churches including The Revolution Church in Raleigh as well as the Freedom Biker Churches in Clayton (formerly FBC Angier) and Fayetteville. Terry is survived by his loving wife of 6 years, Adina Durham; former wife and mother of his children, Diane Duclos of Clayton; sons, Paul Durham and his fiance, Morgan Barbour of Benson; James Durham and his fiance Emily Vickers of Selma; step-daughter, Jami Nickolauson of Eagan, MN; step-son, Nathan Nickolauson and his wife, Christy of Benson; grandchildren, Delaney and Luke; step-grandchildren, Brianna and Michael; sister Sharon Broyles and her husband Jerry of Princeton, WV; nieces, Lauren Broyles of Nashville, TN and Leah Broyles of Princeton, WV; aunt and uncle, Curtis & Judy Murphy of Wright Mountain, WV. Terry was a great friend to many. He leaves behind countless loving family members and friends in West Virginia, North Carolina and abroad. Please join us for a funeral service honoring Terry at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 22 at Freedom Biker Church located at 131 Guy Road in Clayton, NC. Pallbearers for the funeral service include, Paul Durham, James Durham, Nathan Nickolauson, Donald House, Pat Blas and Bob Ranew. A graveside service will be held at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery located at 1917 W. Main Street in Princeton, WV at approximately 3 p.m on Monday.
