Thelma Beatrice Pleasant

ANGIER – Thelma Beatrice Pleasant, 92, passed away peacefully Tuesday at Sunrise Assisted Living in Raleigh. Born in Harnett County, she was the daughter of the late Hubert Patterson and Margie Patterson. She was also formerly a resident of Reidsville and Sanford, NC.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 11th at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier. The family will greet friends and family for one hour prior to the service, starting at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow the service at Harnett Memorial Park, Lillington.

Thelma is survived by her daughter, Rose Pleasant Gurkin (Michael) of Garner; son, Richard Pleasant (Candy) of Palmyra, VA; sister, Frances McKinney of Broadway; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her spouse of over fifty years, Carl Robert Pleasant.
