Thelma “Pat” Borsellino

March 12, 1924 — February 1, 2021

WILLOW SPRING – Thelma “Pat” Borsellino, 96, passed away Monday at her home. A native of Pennsylvania, she is the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin Carter and Alice Mae Lewis Carter. Thelma is survived by her son, John Allen Toomey, Jr. and wife, Connie of Willow Spring; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, John Allen Toomey, Sr. and Michael Borsellino; sisters, Elenor, Ruth, Reba and a brother, George. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, February 6th at Raleigh Memorial Park. She will lie in state from 2:00 to 5:00 PM on Friday, February 5th at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier for anyone that would like to see her or sign the register.
