Theodore Rogers Partin

Garner- Theodore Rogers Partin Ted, 77, passed away Thursday. Born in Harnett County, he was the son of the late Thomas Theodore Partin and Anna Grace Barbour Parrish. Ted grew up in the Benson and Cleveland areas. Early in life, he served in the US Air Force until the early 60s. He enjoyed playing baseball in Japan for the ASAF team and was still an avid Yankees fan. He then worked for International Paper Co. and IBM until his retirement. He was a devoted and loving father to his three girls and grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Sunday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Survivors include his children, Tina Carter and husband, Tommy of Raleigh, Kim Hudson and husband, Keith of Willow Springss and Becky Parrish of Baton Rouge, LA; grandchildren, Cameron, Gavin and Joseph Carter, Madison and Nathan Hudson; siblings, Andy Tex Partin of Garner and Brenda P. Byrd of Angier; and his best friend, his poodle, JoJo and a large and loving extended family. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
