Thomas Carlton Woodard

Raleigh – Thomas Carlton Woodard, 80, of Raleigh, passed peacefully on Sunday, January 12, 2020. A native of Johnston County, TC was born October 9, 1939 to the late Richard Cogdell and Polly Inez Braswell Woodard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Joseph and Kenneth Woodard. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Phyllis T. Woodard; sons, Deryle Woodard (Janet) and Scott Woodard; grandchildren, Dustin Woodard (Kristen) and Derek Woodard; great grandchildren, Daniel and Olivia Woodard; sisters, Joyce Creech and Gloria Casey; brother, Terry Woodard (Judy). Funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 15th, at 2 pm, at Fellowship Baptist Church Raleigh, 5029 Old Stage Road. Entombment will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 pm at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fellowship Baptist Church, 5029 Old Stage Road, Raleigh, NC 27603.
