Thomas Edward Simmons

GARNER- Thomas Edward Simmons, 63, died Tuesday, May 1st. Known as Tommy to all his friends, he enjoyed surf fishing and spending time with his beloved dogs, Penny & Harley. Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm atBryan Lee Funeral Home, Garner on Friday, May4th, 2012. He is survived by his mother, Margaret Simmons; his sons, Thomas Eric Simmons and Doyle Fairburn; grandchildren, Madison & Ryan Simmons; and brother, Greg Simmons. He is preceeded in death by his wife, Gayle Elaine Simmons and father, Raymond Simmons. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to NC Wildlife Resources Commission at 1702 Mail Service Center Raleigh, NC 27699-1702 or Wake County SPCA at 200 Petfinder Lane Raleigh, NC 27603.
