Randy Creech, 74 of Garner, passed away Sunday at Rex Hospital. A native of Johnston Co. he was the son of the late Thomas Odell and Lucille Jones Creech. He was the owner of Randy’s RV’s in Clayton for several years and a faithful member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church for over 50 years where he loved to sing in the choir. Randy was an Auctioneer for Johnson Properties for many years. His greatest passion was showing quarter -horses for AQHA and NRHA. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. There will be a Graveside service at 1 PM Wednesday July 29, 2020 at Montlawn Memorial Park, Mausoleum, with Military Honors. (due to Covid-19 it is requested that masks be worn) Along with his parents Randy was preceded in death by his sister; Linda Barber and a brother Joseph Odell Creech. Survivors include his wife of 52 years; Frances Duncan Creech; son, Shay Creech and wife Leigh Anne; brother, Rex Creech and wife Peggy; sister-in-law, Phyllis Creech and grandson, Brack Creech. Randy will lie in state Tuesday from 12-5 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner for anyone wishing to pay their respects.
