Todd Michael Harty

September 7, 1959 - August 6, 2012 GARNER - Todd Michael Harty, 52, died Monday at his home after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Todd was an avid sports fan and shared his enthusiasm for sports by volunteering as a coach. A memorial service will be held 6:00 pm Wednesday at GarnerUnitedMethodistChurch. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church and at other times at the home. Survivors include his wife, Audrey Bridges Harty; son, Scott Harty; parents, Keith and Nancy Harty of Emerald Isle; father and mother-in-law, Ernest and Joyce Bridges of Garner; sister, Lisa Nickalson and husband, Barry of Garner; brother, Jeff Harty and wife, Stephie of Warrenton; nieces and nephews, Sara, Casey and Danny Nickalson and Anna Britt and Molly Harty. The family wishes to thank his special caregivers, Bert Johnson and Seresa Parker.
