Truman Mann

April 26, 1923 — November 19, 2014

Lawrence Truman Mann, 91, went to his heavenly home Wednesday. A native of Wake County, he was the son of the late Opsie Winston and Vara Sorrell Mann. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday at Catawba Springs Christian Church. Burial will follow in the Mann Family Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Lawrence Mann; daughters, Jean M. Higgins and husband, Jesse and Betty M. Phillips and husband, Joel, all of Apex; sons, Lawrence T. Mann, Jr. and wife, Linda of Raleigh and Steve Mann of Apex; grandchildren, Jessica Link, Jacquelyn Mann, Austin Higgins and Seth Higgins; step-grandchildren, Macy Bruner and Morgan Fowler; step-great-grandchild, Lennon Bruner. The family will receive friends from 9:30 -11:00 am Friday at the church prior to the service.
