Tyrrell Calvin "T.C." Burns, Sr.

HOLLY SPRINGS –Tyrrell Calvin “T.C.” Burns, Sr., 79, passed away Wednesday at Liberty Commons Nursing and Rehab Center in Sanford. Born in Columbus, OH, T.C. was the son of the late William Calvin Burns, II and Ruth Dorothy Veal Burns.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 22nd at 11:00 am at Piney Grove Baptist Church in Fuquay-Varina. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 10:45 am prior to the service at the church.

T.C. is survived by his wife of 39 years, Carolyn Baker Burns; sons, William Calvin Burns, III and Tyrrell Calvin Burns, Jr.; step-children, Gregory Lynn Connor (Beverly Coats) and Angela Connor Mangum (John); twelve grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
