Tyson Bowden

February 16, 1927 — June 15, 2016

WILLOW SPRING- Tyson David Bowden, 89, was promoted to glory and moved to Heaven on Wednesday. A native of Wake County, he was the son of the late Daniel and Katie Bowden. The funeral service will be Saturday at 2:00 pm at Fellowship Baptist Church, 1701 Bud Lipscomb Road Willow Spring. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Tyson is survived by his son, Steve Bowden; daughter, Wanda Pierce (Gary); daughter, Joanie Bowden; grandchildren, Winston Bowden, Matt Pierce, Amanda Cedillo (John), Angela Evans (Ben); great-grandchildren, Evan Cedillo and Davis Evans. In addition to his parents, Tyson is predeceased by his wife, Grace Bowden; sister, Hazel Prince Mangum; brothers, Maurice, Sherwood, Grover, James and Mayon Gold “Bill” Bowden. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00-8:00 pm at Fellowship Baptist Church, Willow Spring.
