Valeria Coats Adams

ANGIER - Valeria Coats Adams, 93, passed away on Wednesday morning. A native of Wake County and a lifelong resident of Angier, she was the daughter of the late William Amos and Dessie Stephenson Coats. In addition to her parents and eleven brothers and sisters, she was preceded in death by her husband, J. Norwood Adams in 1992. Funeral Services will be held Friday at 11:00 AM at Angier Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Surviving are her son, Steve Adams and wife, Gayle; daughter, Sandy Adams Moore and husband, Charles all of Angier, sister, Comma Lee Currin of Coats, grandchildren, S. Todd Adams and wife, Whitney of Apex, Ryan J. Adams and wife, Jessica of Raleigh, Anna Moore Gardner and husband, Jason of Angier and Emily Renn Moore and husband, John Weber of Norfolk, VA and seven great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends at 10:00 AM one hour prior to the service at the Angier Baptist Church.
