Vera Ratcliffe Harrison

RALEIGH, N.C. – Vera Ratcliffe Harrison, 89, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Vera Benfield Ratcliffe of Methuen, MA; husband of fifty-four years, Nick Ray Harrison; three brothers and three sisters; and one grandchild. She is survived by her children: Nick Harrison, Jr. (Sylvia) of Raleigh, NC, Peggy Elliott (George) of Bath, NC, Philip Harrison (Susan) of New Castle, PA, Eddie Harrison (Linda) of Four Oaks, NC, and Andy Harrison of Louisburg, NC. She is also survived by: two brothers; one sister; sixteen grandchildren; and twenty-two great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, July 1, 2019 at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh.
