Vicki Beaman Austin

SMITHFIELD – Vicki Beaman Austin, 59, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday at Wake Med, Cary. She worked with Swift Creek Nursery for over 25 years. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Sunday at Oakland Presbyterian Church with burial following in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church fellowship hall following the service. Survivors include her husband, Joe David Austin; son, Adam Austin and wife, Nicole of Garner; mother, Maverine Taylor and step-father, Charlie Taylor; sister, Beverly Adams and husband, Mike; brother-in-law, David Andrews (Shirley), sister-in-law, Ann Ferrell (Jesse) and brothers-in-law, Jimmy Austin (Debbie) and Jack Austin (Phyllis); step siblings, Ronnie Taylor, Gail Higdon, and Dean Taylor, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Vicki was preceded in death by her father, Nicholas Earl Beaman and her sister, Brenda Beaman Andrews. Flowers are welcome or memorial contributions may be made to Oakland Presbyterian Church, Building Fund, 8927 Cleveland Rd., Clayton, NC 27520.
