Vickie Lynn Arnold

GARNER– Vickie Lynn Arnold, 69, passed away May 9, 2023. A native of Wake County, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Dewey Adams and Ruby Gardner Raper. Vickie was a loving mother and wife. She was kind and caring to anyone who ever crossed her path. Her spirit and beautiful smile would turn the darkest day into sunshine.

Vickie is preceded in death by her parents, Dewey Adams and Ruby Gardner Raper.

Vickie is survived by her loving husband, Ken Arnold; daughter, Melonie Trice (Chris); sister, Carol Barefoot; grandchildren, Samantha Trice, Colby Trice, and Kelsey Mahfouz (Jonathan); niece, Crystal Thomas; and nephews, Tony Thomas, and Don Barefoot (Sharon).

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at 10:00 am, at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, 1200 Benson Road, Garner, NC 27529. Interment will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends and family for a time of visitation at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home in Garner from 6:00 – 8:00pm on May 12, 2023, the night prior to the service. Casual attire is encouraged.

Friends of the family are also welcome to give their condolences in person at 3021 Jackson King Road, Willow Spring, NC 27592 anytime between 6:00 - 8:00PM Wednesday, the 10th and Thursday, the 11th, if they should feel inclined to do so.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Arnold’s memory to a charity of your choice.
