Vincent "Vince" Allen Moore

Vincent “Vince” Allen Moore, 70, passed away on August 5, 2024. A native of Guilford County, Vince was born January 12, 1954, to the late Billy K. and Peggy Loretta Tucker Moore. Vince served his country proudly for more than 20 years, before retiring from the Army as a Master Sergeant with the 7th Group Special Forces. He had a commendable military service earning a Bronze Star in Grenada and later serving as an instructor at the Special Warfare School. After retiring, Vince went on to teach Vietnam Studies and loved educating his students through the experiences he had. He was also a fan of the Minnesota Vikings and enjoyed running, completing several half marathons.

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, August 10, 2024, at 3:30PM, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1433 Aversboro Road Garner, NC 27529. The family will receive friends from 2:30 – 3:20PM at the church.

Vince is survived by his wife, Edith Kay Moore; daughter, Kristen Miller and husband, Jeremiah; sons, Brett Moore, Mark Moore, and Matthew Moore and partner, Adam Liebmann; a sister, Vicki Smith and husband, Doug; and a nephew, Sean Smith.
