Virginia Juanita Trainor

Virginia Juanita Thornton Trainor, age 94 of Garner, North Carolina died Monday, June 26, 2023 in the Wake-Med Raleigh Hospital. She was born February 15, 1929 to the late Ozzie and Viola Long Thornton and the widow of Philip G. Trainor, Sr. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Philip G. Trainor, Jr.; her brothers; Collis Thornton and Carlton Thornton.

She is survived by her son, Michael Trainor of Raleigh, NC; her daughter, Deborah Adams and her husband, Gary of New Orleans, LA; her grandchildren, Jimi Adams, Tony Mills and Baxter Harville and her great-grandchildren, Charlie Mills, Troy Mills and one on the way.

Her visitation will be held Wednesday, June 28, 2023 from 3:00 to 6:00 PM in the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner, NC.

Her graveside service will be held Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the Montlawn Memorial Park.
