Virginia Pankenier

September 28, 1942 — March 12, 2021

Ginger was originally from New Jersey, but has resided in Raleigh NC, for the passed 14 years. She was a machinist for 30 years prior to moving to NC. Ginger had a huge love for playing bingo and testing her luck in the casino’s. Ginger was predeceased by her husband Richard Pankenier. The two of them loved spending their time together fishing. “Gin” was a woman who always spoke her mind, whether you wanted to hear it or not, and cared deeply for people for who they really were! Ginger’s own personal goal in life was to bring out others smiles and make them laugh, and she was very successful at achieving that goal. Ginger, or best known as “Grandma” to her granddaughters, loved spending time and playing with all of her grandchildren. Ginger is survived by her sister, Josephine “Jo”: her daughters, Lisa, Sharon and Wendy and her beautiful granddaughters, Paige, Caitlin, Jessica and Maisie.
