Vivian Truelove Carter

Vivian Truelove Carter, 86, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family. Vivian worked for the State of  N.C. for many  years, working in Probation. She was also a longtime member  of Samaria Baptist Church and loved the Lord, her family and her church family very much. She was also a graduate of Broughton High School. A graveside service will be held Friday, May 8, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Montlawn Memorial Park. Vivian was preceded in death by her parents; Daylon and Martha Truelove, a brother, Robert Truelove, son, Clyde Carter, Jr. and her husband of 65 years, Clyde Carter, Sr. in 2012. Survivors include; son Donald Carter and wife Gayle; grandchildren, Brittany Weathersbee and husband Ryan, Brooks Carter and wife Christina; great-grandchildren, Paisley Weathersbee and Camden Carter; extended family, grandson, Mackenzie Andrews, granddaughter, Haylee Andrews, extended family, Garner and Alice Gayle Andrews, Andy and Paige Andrews, Jeff and Maggie Andrews; sister-in-law Lessie Truelove. The family will receive friends and relatives Thursday from 6 – 8 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Garner. Memorial Contributions may be made to Transitions LifeCare 250 Hospice Cr.
