Vonceil Scott Cooper

Vonceil Scott Cooper, 91, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2022. A native of Dillon County, SC, Vonceil was born April 13, 1931, to the late Bennie and Mamie Bass Scott. She was married to Fulton Cooper for their 72 year journey together. Vonceil worked for many years in the Wake County Public School System and enjoyed her time watching the children grow and giving motherly advice when she could. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church for over 40 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family more than anything. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at 2PM, in the Bryan-Lee Funeral Home Chapel, Garner. The family will receive friends from 1-2PM, prior to the service. Burial will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park. Vonceil is survived by her daughter, Brenda Vaughan Williams; granddaughter, Kristie A. McNeill; great grandchildren, Daisju and Jontel McNeill; great great grandchildren, Trey, Dre, Dominic, Harmony, Camille, King, Aubrey, Andreus, and Jalayah; and a brother, James Scott. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Fulton Cooper.
