RALEIGH -William Matthew Page, 83, expired February 9, 2011 at Rex Hospital. He had been in failing health for the past year. He loved the Lord, his family and the Bichon, Benji and the poodle, Skip. They were his constant buddies. Services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, February 12th in The Chapel of Memories at Montlawn Memorial Park with a viewing from 1:30-2:00 pm, prior to the service.Survivors in his devoted family include his wife of 59 years, Dorothy W. Page; daughter, Dr. Pam P. Carpenter and her husband, Don Alan Carpenter of Bear Creek; granddaughter, Heather Bagley, CRNA and her husband, Chris of Ayden and their daughters, Miranda and Morgan; brother, Dewey Page and his wife, Odette of Goldsboro. The family wishes to thank Dr. Pauli of Rex and the staff of the 3rd Floor East for their kindness and care for our family. Flowers are appreciated or memorial contributions may be made to Wake County Animal Adoption Center, 820 Beacon Lake Drive, Raleigh, NC 27610.He fought the good fight and is now at peace with his Lord and Savior.
