Raleigh- Wallace Edward Glover, 81, passed away Tuesday at his home. He was a military veteran, having served his country as a member of the US Army. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday at Bryan-Lee Funeral Chapel, Garner. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home. Following the visitation, burial will be at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery, Knightdale. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Betty Williams Glover; daughters, Renee Glover Pope and husband, David of Knightdale and Gydelle Glover Denton and husband, Doug of Clayton; son, Eddie Glover and wife, Bonnie of Raleigh; sisters, Ann Burchette of Raleigh, Geraldine Baker and husband, Ted of Clayton, Joyce Keith and husband, Harold of Knightdale and Sue Bailey and husband, Barry of Angier; grandchildren, Bryan Pope and wife, Terri of Knightdale, Whitney McCallister and husband, Wes of Raleigh and Holly Glover of Raleigh; great-grandchildren, Taylor Pope, Trista Pope and Mila McCallister. He is also survived by his best friends, James Moon and Mary Sue Horton. He was predeceased by his parents, Jack and Lurla Glover, and a brother, William Glover.
