Walter Scott Stevens

Walter Scott Stevens, age 59 of Smithfield, NC passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 1st, 2021. Scott was a man of faith and believed that family was everything. He spent many years watching his kids on the baseball or softball fields and if he wasn’t coaching, he was running from one field to the other to see them all play. His grandchildren will always remember him as their pappaw who loved to tell jokes and funny stories. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Deana Stevens, his 4 children, Amber Barefoot, Scott Stevens, Kasidy Street, and Walter Stevens, his 10 grandchildren and his sister, Vicki, and 2 brothers, Ronnie and Mark. He will be deeply missed by all of his loved ones.
