Wanda Jean Hamilton

BENSON – Wanda Jean Hamilton, 64, went home to the Lord on September 9, 2021. Born in Johnston county, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Hamilton and Mabel Partin Hamilton. Wanda was a friend to the friendless and kind and loving toward everyone she met. She was always smiling or laughing and loved to joke around and make everyone laugh. She encouraged and comforted others and was a great listener. Wanda loved flowers, going on walks, travel, and most of all, she loved to sing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Tony Hamilton. Wanda is survived by her brother, Danny Hamilton; and many special cousins, aunts and uncles. Wanda will be missed by so many; a light gone out here on earth, but one more lit in heaven.
