Warner N. Allen

April 11, 1933- October 11, 2011 Warner N. Allen, 78, of Raleigh died Tuesday at his home. Warner was born in Nash County to the late Armid Edward Allen and Mary Ann Flanagan Allen. He was member of Temple Baptist Church and veteran of the U S Army. He worked in the automotive service industry his entire career following his military service. After marrying his bride he worked at Saunders Motor Company and then at Bobby Murray Chevrolet for 26 years, retiring in 1991. He is survived by his wife Nell Morgan Allen; sons, Christopher E. Allen and wife, Lynne and Timothy W. Allen and wife, Gail; grandchildren, Aimee, Sarah, Anthony and Michael.Warner was preceded in death by his sisters, Janet A. Leonard, Matilda A. Keicher and Rynne A. Edwards and by brothers, A. E. Allen, Jr. and Colton Allen. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00PM Friday at Temple Baptist Church, 1417 Clifton Street, Raleigh, NC 27604 with visitation prior from 1:00-2:00PM in the Family Life Center at the church.
