Wendell "Dell" Simpson

Wendell “Dell” Lynn Simpson, 59, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 22, 2023.  A native of Johnston County & originally from Union County, Wendell was born November 1, 1963, to Jenny Frances Burns Simpson MacKay and the late Michael Lee Simpson. Dell was a true adventurer in every sense of the word. He enjoyed camping with his family, riding his motorcycle, and watching NASCAR. More than anything though, he loved spending as much time as he could with his family.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1-4pm on Sunday, March 26th, at the home of April and Brian Stephens, 6081 NC HWY 50 N, Benson, NC 27504.  Guests are invited to stop by at your convenience.

Dell is survived by his wife, Dina McQuillen Simpson; daughter, April Stephens and husband, Brian; granddaughter, Abigail Stephens; sister, Sandra Pitsaros and husband, Steve; niece, Cassie Arnold; and a nephew, Wyatt Pitsaros.
