Wendy "Wonder Wendy" Rhoades

WILLOW SPRING – Wendy ”Wonder Wendy” Marie Rhoades, 46, passed away at Duke Regional Hospital in Durham on Saturday. Born in Cumberland County, she was the daughter of the late Gary Fox. She is survived by her mother, Deborah Mills and step-father, Jarvis Mills of Willow Spring.

A memorial visitation celebrating Wendy’s life will be held from 4:00-6:00 pm on Saturday, January 28th at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home, Angier.

In addition to her mother and step-father, Wendy is survived by her loving husband, David Rhoades; son, Robert “Shawn” Jefferson (Lexie) of Willow Spring; sister, Jackie Phelps (David) of Angier; special niece, Alyssa Guignard (Donovan) of Willow Spring; special nephews, William Pope of Angier, Wayne Pope of Angier; brothers, Josh Fox of Seymour, IN, Alex Fox (Natasha) of Brownstown, IN; grandchildren, Jadiel, Kaitlyn, Princeton, and Destiny; and numerous nieces and nephews.
