Wesley Oliver Barber

PINE LEVEL - Wesley Oliver Barber, 86, passed away unexpectedly, on Saturday, August 6, 2022. A native of Johnston County, Wesley was born May 31, 1936, to the late Hallie and Sudi Barber. He retired from Coca-Cola after 29 years, and then pursued another career with William Peace University, as a Security Guard, with a retirement after 20 years. Wesley enjoyed being with family and spending time on his front porch. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, August 11, 2022, at 2pm at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home Chapel, 1200 Benson Road, Garner, NC 27529. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Bryan-Lee Funeral Home. An Interment will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park, 2911 S Wilmington St., Raleigh, NC 27603. Wesley is survived by his sister, Judy Clifton (Robert Wayne) and many beloved nieces and nephews. Wesley is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Fletcher Barber, Horace Barber, Durwood Barber, Charles Barber, James Barber, and Burnice Barber; and sister, Louise Barber.
